	Hera International Community is dedicated to serving at-risk population in vulnerable areas by assisting in the following ways: * Recognize the fact that spiritual, personal and community health are vital for community sustainablity and positive growth. * Help promote positive change through education, community development and income generating activities. * Assist existing groups of women in rural areas of developing countries. Help support women through loans for start up of micro enterprise businesses that benefit the local community. * Partner with other groups and organizations for capacity building activities in rural communities. * Sponsor community events to inform and include the public on community development, education and art at the local and global level. * Help promote generated arts and crafts for sale at fair trade prices. Income generated from sale of arts and crafts benefit groups or individuals that created them.
	* Help provide educational opportunities for youth and adults to learn marketable skills in cottage industry, community development, and life skills education. * Target motivated youth in developing countries who have finished their high school education and lack the funds and resources to pursue higher education. Help selected student with payment of tuition, fees and school related supplies. Help ensure student and their immediate family have basic needs at home met. * Promote cultural exchange with students in the U.S and other countries. Organize and execute cross-cultural art projects, community development projects and fostering cross-cultural friendships.
